Project Details

The project required the following to be achieved:

• Create a game which enable users to play and learn about poker.
• Research ways of exposing the game to users, either through a mobile application or on the web

To enable to achieve targets we decided to follow a plan:

• Game Design
• Programme the game using coding techniques
• Decide on how to show off the game

We began by researching the variety of games currently available online and in shops. We found that many of the big companies such as William Hill and Pokerstars have created especially designed software for their games online. These games are very distinct to the brand and provide a more realistic experience. We also discovered other versions which gave beginners a good idea of the game. We decided that we wanted to create a game which would be a great tool for new users to the game as well as being creative and enjoyable.
